Butter Cake Recipe(Pound Cake)


Ingredients
  • Butter       200g
  • Flour         200g
  • Sugar       200g
  • Milk           40ml(4 table spoons)
  • Baking Powder     2 teaspoons
  • vanila essense    2 teaspoons
  • salt half teaspoon

Method

  • I used 18cm baking Tray or small tray,Line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper and butter or spray the paper. pre-heat the oven to 170c
  •  Beat the butter and sugar
  • in a seperate ball beat the eggs,milk and vanila together and add it to the above mixture and beat it well
  • place the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt) and mix it
  • gradually add ingredients to the butter mixture,do not over mix it
  • Scrape the batter into the prepared pan
  • Bake for about 55 to 65 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
